We are repeatedly told by the media that we live in a multicultural society where diversity is welcome, free speech is guaranteed, and we are all treated equal.
However, last week two news I came across in the paper made me think just the opposite.
The first news is regarding the Domino's Pizza branch in Hall Green, Birmingham, where you cannot order anymore pizzas made of pork or non-halal meat... and why is that you may be wondering? Well, Domino's Pizza has decided to please the fast growing Muslim community in the area by giving them the pizza that even the Prophet Muhammed could not have refused.
Great news indeed for the Muslims but what about all the other non-Muslims who do actually enjoy a Pepperoni pizza? They either need to eat Halal pizza and shut up or go somewhere else... well... somewhere else where the Muslim community is not the majority (for now) I guess.
Apart from pleasing the Muslim community, Domino's Pizza, a Western company, is promoting the cruelest method of animal killing the world has ever witnessed: Halal, in other words, the animal is not stung but its throat is cut while it's still alive and the poor beast is left bleeding until the last drop of blood is gone. The killing is horrible and the animal suffers the pains of hell, but hey, can you get an Animal Rights activist do something about that? Brigitte Bardot has been called a racist for having spoken out, and nobody likes to be called a racist these days.
The second news is that the Dutch MP Geert Wilders has been banned to enter Britain because, so we are told, he is preaching hate against the Muslims. Well... is he? Or was he coming in the UK by an invitation of UKIP MP Gerard Batten to a discussion about his film, called "Fitna", where he claims there is a link between the Koran and the Islamic terrorism? I mean, is it so crazy and racist to believe that the Islamic terrorists, such as the ones on 9/11, are slightly aware of the context of the Koran and possibly misinterpreted it?
Geert Wilders is not a threat to public policy or public security as the Home Office want us to believe, in fact, he is so much a threat to society that in the Netherlands he is under protection 24 hours a day! He has been threatened to death by the Islamists, so don't you think we should listen to what he has to say, or we just prefer him to end up dead like the Dutch film director Theo Van Gogh who was killed by an Islamist because of his film about Islam?
But again, I am told, we live in a multicultural society, where diversity is welcome, free speech is guaranteed, and we are all treated equal.
I am pretty sure the Muslim Council of Britain agrees with that.

For once, I partially agree with you, especially on the Wilders nonsense. I mean, the film is clearly a piece of propaganda, but it shows real things, like verses from the Qur’an and speeches from various preachers. There' s no point to let him out of the country only because we are scared of the reaction of the muslim community, where' s the freedom of speech? Let' s debate about it and let' s distinguish between political islam and islam itself, two different things. And maybe it' s just me, but I don' t understand how to first propose the 42 days detention and then this. And Milliband speaking about the film without having seeing it, mm

Maybe you should actually FIND OUT WHY THE MEAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE HALAL AND WHAT IT EVEN MEANS
THE FACT IS WHENEVER THE WORD ‘RITUAL’ GETS MENTIONED TO PEOPL THEY AUTOMATICALLY THINK OF BARBARIC IMAGES.
HOWEVER IF U DO THE RESEARCH AND LOOK AT IT FROM A SCIENTIFIC POINT OF VIEW, YOU WILL REALIZE THAT ‘HALAL MEAT’ MEANS (PERMISSIBLE) ANIMAL MEAT.
MEANING WHEN THE COW OR GOAT’S THROAT IS SLIT IN THE PROPER WAY, THE ANIMAL FEELS LESS PAIN THAN WHEN IT GETS ELECTRICALLY SHOCKED TO DEATH. THE VAIN THAT IS SLIT IS ACTUALLY CONNECTED TO THE PAIN RECEPTORS IN THE BRAIN WHICH WHEN CUT PROPERLY NUMBS THE SENSES OF THE ANIMAL.
WHEN U SEE THE ANIMAL JUMPING FOR DEAR LIFE AND STUFF, IT’S NOT ACTUALLY MOVING AROUND DUE TO PAIN, IT’S ACTUALLY JUST THE MUSCLES CONTRACTING AND BECOMING RELAXED.
NOW I’M NOT A DOCTOR SO I CAN’T COMPLETELY EXPLAIN ALL OF THE ASPECTS OF THE ISLAMIC TRADITION OF SLAUGHTERING ANIMALS.
I SUGGEST U GUYS DO THE RESEARCH URSELF.
O YEA ALSO, THE REASON WHY ALOT OF SO CALLED ‘HUMANITARIAN COMPANIES’ ARE AGAINST THIS PROCESS OF SLAUGHTER IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT IS VEWRY TIME CONSUMING EVEN THOUGH IT’S JUST DONE SO THE ANIMAL FEELS AS LITTLE PAIN AS POSSIBLE. TIME IS MONEY. ELECTRICUTING AND CHOPPING ANIMAL’S HEADS OFF IS MUCH FASTER AND MAKES THESE COMPANIES MUCH MORE PROFIT.
AS FOR SOME HUMANITARIANS WHO CLAIM THE ISLAMIC WAY OF ANIMAL SLAUGHTER IS UNJUST, I DON’T THINK THEY ACTUALLY KNOW THE SCIENTIFIC(DRAINING OF THE BLOOD) AND HUMANITARIAN(NUMBING THE PAIN BY SLITTING THE THROAT.
ALSO AN EKG REPORT HAS BEEN DONE ON ANIMALS WITH BOTH PROCESSES OF SLAUGHTER AND IT HAS BEEN PROVEN THAT ANIMALS FEEL MUCH MORE PAIN WHEN THEY’RE ELECTRICUTED. THE PROHIBITION OF ANIMAL HEAD CHOPPING IN ISLAM IS ACTUALLY RELATED TO THE WHOLE DRAINING OF THE BLOOD THING. BECUZ THE BLOOD CAN CARRY VARIOUS TYPES OF DISEASES N SO WEN CONSUMED MAY EFFECT THE CONSUMERS HEALTH.
THE MEDIA HAS BEEN VERY CLEVER AT SUBTLY AND OBVIOUSLY MANIPULATING THE WAY WE ALL THINK WITH PROPAGANDA AND MISCONCEPTION. (BUT NEVER WITH LOGIC)SO THAT MOST OF US (WHO ARE EASILY MANIPULATED) WILL CONFORM TO THEIR IDEALS (ONCE AGAIN WITHOUT SOUND LOGIC AND REASONING)
BUT MOST OF WHAT THE GOVERNMENT OR MEDIA DOES IS NEVER FOR THE PEOPLES BENEFIT. IT’S ALWAYS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ONES IN POWER SO THAT THEY REMAIN IN POWER.
CONQUER AND DIVIDE, THAT IS THEIR MAIN TACTIC.
